Reimbursable Expenses

Reimbursable expenses include services such as shoeing, dental care, horse shows, and other necessary costs covered by Spencer Benedict Stables (SBS) on behalf of an individual horse.​

Hauling Rates

• $50 minimum charge or $0.75 per loaded mile per horse if 5 or more horses

  • Fuel surcharge may apply based on fuel costs

Board Rates

An additional $2 per day applies to most racing and draft breeds.

• Pasture (Single Horse) – $14 per day (Includes pasture, hay, and grain)

• Stall (Single Horse) – $22 per day (Includes hay and grain)

• Stall Mare Watch (Expecting Mares) – $25 per day (Includes hay and grain)

• Mare & Foal (Stall) – $25 per day (Includes hay and grain)

• Pasture (Mare & Foal) – $22 per day (Year-round boarders only, includes pasture, hay, and grain)

• Extra Care Fee - After hours extra care for at risk foals, mares, or special needs horses.  The fee is dependant upon the amount of care needed. - Min $25 per day

Foaling Fees

• Foaling Out Mare – $600 foaling fee (Includes attendant, cameras & use of Foalert)- BOOKED FULLY FOR 2025

• Daily Board for Foaling Mares – $25 per day

Breeding Fees & Services

• Lab Fee – Semen Prep – $25 per dose

• Artificial Insemination (Frozen) – $200 per cycle

• Breeding Kit – $25 per kit

• Disposable Semen Shipper – $40

Semen Shipping (Must Be Prepaid)

• UPS/FedEx – Minimum $275 per shipment (Final cost subject to location & delivery day)

• Courier – Call for quote

• Additional Doses – $25 per dose

Late Fees & Payment Terms

A $25 late fee per horse PLUS a 1.5% monthly finance charge apply to all accounts not paid by due date on the invoice.
